    From August 7–17, 2025, the World Games were held in Chengdu, China, showcasing elite athletes from non-Olympic sports around the world. At the Chengdu Roller Sports Centre, inline speed skating stood out as one of the most exciting and competitive spectacles of the Games.

    Sebastian "Chevi" Guzman produced one of the most remarkable sprint campaigns in World Games history, winning five gold medals against a world-class field.

    Chevi’s gold medal victories included:

    • 🥇 200 meters sprint (track) New World Record: 17.164 Seconds

    • 🥇 500 meters sprint (track)

    • 🥇 1,000 meters sprint (track)

    • 🥇 One-lap road race

    • 🥇 100 meters road sprint - New World Record 9.53 Seconds
