The Junk Skates Backpack Gen 3 is the ultimate race-day skate backpack, designed from the ground up for the way skaters actually train, race, and travel.
The Purple + Pink colorway combines a bold purple body with bright pink contrast panels, trim, and detailing for a vibrant, unmistakably Junk look. It’s built to stand out whether you’re heading to practice, traveling to a race, or rolling through the airport with all your gear.
Instead of simply making a backpack big enough to hold your gear, we gave everything a place — your skates, helmet, glasses, tools, clothing, laptop, and all those smaller essentials that somehow always come along on race day.
Your skates ride securely on the outside of the backpack, with dedicated carrying systems on both sides. Each skate is supported by its own side pocket and secured with an adjustable buckle strap, keeping your skates separate from everything inside while preserving valuable interior space. Best of all, you can still open and access the main compartment without removing your skates.
Your helmet has a home too. A deployable mesh helmet carrier is concealed inside its own dedicated compartment. Pull it out when you need it, secure your helmet using the integrated buckles, and when you're done, the entire mesh carrier tucks neatly back inside and disappears from view.
Up front, two separate quick-access pockets keep smaller essentials close at hand. The upper pocket is a great spot for eyewear, electronics, personal items, or anything else you want to grab quickly — and it fits a Junk Alchemy glasses case perfectly. The second front pocket gives you additional independent storage for everyday essentials.
The lower front area also features integrated utility webbing loops, giving you convenient attachment points for carabiners and small accessories.
Behind the front pockets sits a large, full-length organizer compartment with dual zipper pulls. Inside, three separate organizer sections help keep smaller gear organized and easy to find while leaving plenty of open storage space for larger items.
Then there's the spacious main compartment, also accessed with dual zipper pulls. Inside you'll find a secure zippered pocket, two large open organizer pockets, three dedicated slots perfect for skate wrenches, tools, or pens, and a separate padded laptop compartment — while still leaving a large central storage area for clothing, protective gear, bottles, accessories, and everything else you need for training, racing, or traveling.
And because a fully loaded skate bag needs to be comfortable to carry, the Junk Skates Backpack features padded shoulder straps, an adjustable chest strap, and a padded breathable mesh back panel.
The heavy-duty top carry handle is reinforced with webbing that extends down the sides of the backpack, providing additional support when lifting and carrying a fully loaded bag.
For traveling skaters, Gen 3 features dual luggage straps on the back. Two attachment points secure the backpack over the telescoping handle of rolling luggage, helping keep the bag more stable and upright while moving through airports, hotels, and race destinations ✈️.
Throughout the backpack, details such as custom Junk-branded zipper pulls, reinforced construction, smart organization, and colorway-specific Junk artwork and detailing make this Purple + Pink edition unmistakably Junk.
